Baptism

After a two week hiatus, and so much happens in just two weeks! Two weeks ago, on November 19th, Addison was baptized into the covenant community at Grace Chapel. Both our families were able to be there and was a very significant time for us all. Please join with us in praying for the day Addison's faith joins with her baptism.

Sometimes I forget

Addison looks very much like a "baby" right now. She used to look squidgy and wrinkled and floppy. Most days I have a hard time remembering what it was like to hold her little neck for her or anticipate the 15 minutes a day that she seemed truly awake (often that fell between 3 and 5 am . . . ). So this is a reminder of how Addison looked when we first met her.

lots of firsts

On this Lord's Day, we had a lot of firsts: first real giggle session which both Mom and Pappa got to witness, first real sludge poop diaper, first trim of her wispy baby hair, 12 hours of sleep with only 1 feeding and tripodding on the couch! That substantive development for an almost 5-month old child! Here's a few photos to catch us up.
